Victoria is intrigued by the sensory and perceptual abilities of humans and our attempts to organise, structure and communicate our understanding of the physical world. Her research focuses on the unity of visual arts and physics, exploring how artistic methods and expression can be used to personalise physics education. She believes the use of artistic methods in physics will allow for people to integrate its cold, empirical and impersonal nature into their own personal and internal worlds. By creating this link, physics becomes relevant and a part of everyone's subjective reality. Her exploration of this area is documented through her abstract art, teaching and research. She aims to create awareness and promote research into visualisation, creativity and abstraction within physics education. |
